when you uninstall a program, the files often remain undeleted, even when the program is no longer in your hard drive. Few people have a knack of installing a lot of applications, and it’s common to have a lot of undeleted files and folders left when they finally decide to uninstall the specific program. These files are nowhere near harmful, but they can make your hard drive look like a cluster bomb and if you’re planning to clear them manually, you’re looking at a lot of brainstorming since they’re not always at one place, and since Windows doesn’t provide any way to search and delete these empty folders it becomes a bigger hassle.
