How To Take Ownership Of System Files In Windows 8

After Microsoft introduced UAC (User Advanced Control) in Windows Vista, it also enhanced the security of main system files by indurating ‘Effective Permissions’. Often times, to replace, or to rename a system file or folder under the root drive C, you need to take ownership of the desired file or folder. Windows files and folders are owned by ‘Trusted Installer’ in Windows 7 and above. This even restricts the members of Administrator’s group from altering the files or permissions unless they have the ownership.
