MS Word allows you to change the time interval of automatically saving a document while it’s being modified. Here’s how to do it! Open a Word document and click the ‘Office Button’ (In earlier Word Versions) on the top left of the widow or click the ‘FILE’ button (in case of Word 2013). Select the ‘Options’ Tab on the left, and click on ‘Save’ to open a new menu. You will be able to see “Save AutoRecover information every 10 minutes”. The default time interval is already 10 minutes. It’s up to you if you want to decrease or increase the time interval. It’s recommended to keep the time interval to a minimum if you want to keep your data safe and automatically saved every few minutes.
