Excel 2013 has a wide range of formulas and functions that we don’t find in other Office suites. An important feature of Excel is Data Validation that controls data or values, which users input into a certain data range. With the Data Validation Tool, you can not only control data that is be typed in, but can also prevent the input of invalid values or data. It lets you create a rule which can, for instance, allow you to restrict entry of a value greater than 100, or keep users from entering invalid dates, numbers etc.
